Nota biografica

We are Malleus.
We are an artistic collective working in the underground of the world.
We draw and colour, we record and elaborate images, we print figure on strange papers filtering inks through canvas, we create cartoons and comics, we realize  big paintings using few colours.
Born at the end of 1999 from the friendship of two guys (Poia e Urlo), Malleus has developed in three years spreading his art worldwide.
The collective is expanding, growing, experimenting, influenced by different minds. Lu joined the video section at the beginning of 2002 and new altered brains are floating  in the psychedelic universe of Malleus.
Starting as illustrators, devoted to the seventies style, the malleusdelic wizards have moved towards new  landscapes: Video-art, Web design, Poster-art, Painting and many others projects are growing. Malleus search has the purpose of creating a different world in the artistic panorama of today.
Malleus has presented his art in different expositions all over the World, from Philadelphia (Artifacts of the Improbable) to rio de Janeiro (Diabolicas), stopping in Milan HIU09 (International happening of the underground) for starting again in Faenza  (Mei), partecipating in a collective pro-peace in SanFrancisco (Yo! What happened to Peace) now moving to LA.
Mr. Grushkin has requested our posters to include them in "ART OF MODERN ROCK" which will be out in October 2004, and Abrams book has contacted us for the second edition of "Swag Rock - posters of the 90's". Finally Malleus will be out on the Electric Frankenstein’s book published by Dark Horse.
MALLEUS is working on hand silkscreened posters since the beginning of 2003 and in 6 months we've worked for artists like Flaming Lips, Turbonegro, Melissa Auf der Maur, Fishbone, Spiritual Beggars, Bronx, Sophia, Oneida, 90 day men, Sigur Ros, Linea 77, Monster Magnet, etc.
Like someone said: "It's a satanic drug thing you wouldn't understand".
